Lessons

Martin runs a private lessons studio teaching students of all ages both online and in person. Instruction can include instrument fundamentals on piano and brass instruments, music theory basics, as well as advanced jazz improvisation, building off of Barry Harris' approach to functional harmony for all instruments. Any instrument you play and any experience level is welcome!
He is also on faculty at the Mannes Prep program at the New School College of Performing Arts, so middle-high school aged students in the New York area can study with him as part of this program as well.
Additionally, Martin has experience leading seminars on jazz theory and improvisation, and he can be booked as a clinician to travel to any educational institution from the Contact tab.
